What a cookie is
A small file a site asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise your device on the next page or the next visit. The same rules cover similar storage, like local storage.
What we set
Nothing, until you choose. Browsing the directory, reading a guide or filling in a form sets no cookies at all. We self-host our fonts precisely so that reading a page does not call out to anyone else.
If you accept analytics, we set Google Analytics cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. If you decline, they are never set: the script does not load at all, rather than loading and being told to behave.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under gi-consent. That is what stops us asking again on every page.
Cookies we do not set
No advertising cookies. No Meta pixel. No cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not sell audiences and we are not building a profile of you.
Payments
If you go through checkout, Stripe sets its own cookies to process the payment and detect fraud. Those are strictly necessary for the payment to work, so they do not need consent, and they only appear if you are actually paying.
Changing your mind
Use the button below to change your choice at any time. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, which resets everything.
